    Ed's 'StreetRunner' Quad Build

Can't see the 911 "call button" or the fire-extinguisher button, or the Police Radar Gun blocker. :ROFLMAO:

This is interesting tilting delta ?

Now this is interesting. the fact that this "delta" has such a wide rear end and low COG that it breaks away and slides before it can roll over. Is this a lesson for us all to learn? If width is the restriction for us (barriers etc.) then the COG needs to be low? Or, like the Original posting...

This is interesting tilting delta ?

All the finesse of an "Invacar", Britains answer to the "Trabant". The Invacar was made here in Thundersley for a time. http://www.virtualgaz.com/invacarpage.htm

Update 18th Feb 2020: I braved the bitterly chill wind and the occasional spots of rain and removed the RH caliper from the mounting bracket and popped the pads out and inserted a spacer to prevent total piston exit from the caliper; cleaned both pistons with a cleaning tape and brake-cleaner. I...

Hold that thought Paul. I really must get LOKI sorted and this other Delta up and running first.

I'm sure it will be the same here Paul.

This is interesting tilting delta ?

Rather tempting as a goal. I know it has 26/20 config, but I happen to have some nice wide 36Hole 24" Unicycle Rims and that would be a nice option I think. Fat-tyred cruiser.

Update 17th February 2020: All "Toe-In" adjustments completed with my new home-made tools. I have to say that it is so much easier than ever before (especially, when you start from the "easy" side of the trike for the first wheel set-up). I also re-positioned the rear-wheel drag/parking brake...

This is interesting tilting delta ?

I have to say that it looks like an ideal home for my "other" N380. :p My mind is in a whirl......... "A PROJECT".

    Electrifying the Viking

I have used BAFANG on my tadpole(s) and can attest to 2 things (as mentioned by Emma (Twinkle) above. If your gearing isn't low enough the power will often rip the R.H. Side of your drive-wheel out of the drive-side dropout. No amount of tightening of the axle nut will stop it if it does this...

Then Build, Build, Build. When I last looked they were about 6,000 euros.

This is interesting tilting delta ?

Paul, I can see how the suspension works :) Very clever, and also tilt-limit and the tilt lock. Very nice indeed.

This is interesting tilting delta ?

Yes, it is VERY attractive as a build and as a concept. The late "Sandman" (John) was looking at doing something like this as his next build. I like the clever use of a central drive shaft and independent trailing arms; one with the manual (N380) gearing and the other with the hub-motor. The...

Update 15th Feb 2020: I braved storm Dennis this morning to put the trike up on stands and play with my new tracking tools. The tools are fabulous, the siting of the diverter pulley made things interesting, and then I realised the first wheel you set up can be on either side and there was indeed...

I like the looks of this e-Quad from Utah Trikes.

Agree. I like to LOOK, but there's no detail behind it other than the spiel on the u-tube vid.

Update 14th Feb 2020: Quite fitting that this report on my love-hate relationship with this trike is on St. Valentines day. Let me report on today's massacre. As I believe I have lamented before, setting up the toe-in/tracking on my tadpole trikes has always been a challenge for a variety...

Update 12th Feb 2020: Perishing cold today so little was achieved. I did some minor honeydew stuff (just to be allowed out into the workshop). First I fixed the issue with the friction shifter for the front mech (parts were 180-degrees out of synch with each other). All I managed to do that...
