    My life with Python trikes Mk1 , Mk1.5 , Mk2 ?

For what it is worth. Why not create an independent suspension such as the Citroën 2 CV. Instead of hinging the central arm, you can move the two axes up and down separately and connect them with tie rods and compressed coil springs. A view from behind would be something like this.

    Experimental Python from leftovers

The track is measured centre to centre. Initially I build it with the 'ideal' pivot angle of 65 degrees and lowered it after I read your discussion with Pegasus here on the forum.

    Experimental Python from leftovers

Thanks all (Brad, Sir Joey, Paul) for your replies. I appreciate your comments and suggestions concerning my build. Thumbs up for the Atomic Zombie Community. The seat height is 40 cm, necessary to turn above the pivot (and easy to get on, easy to get off). The rear track is 69 cm. This gives...

    Experimental Python from leftovers

Hi, The rear wheels have 12.7 mm (1/2 inch) axles. I don't suppose these were made for rough journeys or for carrying heavy loads (I weigh 75 kg). That's why I placed the word "experimental" in the title. I love the odd way the python controls along with the compactness of the design. Until...

    Experimental Python from leftovers

Hi everybody, I had some leftovers from my tadpole build and thought to give it another shot. I ordered m14 rod ends at my friends Aliexpress and assembled the python trike in the attached pictures. The front is made of the rear of two kids bikes. The rear wheels came from a second hand sale...

First attempt to build my own Streetfox

These are ordinary pedals, not cleated. I want to be able to ride my bike with 'normal' shoes. I am thinking of making heel straps with knotted paracord.

First attempt to build my own Streetfox

Thank you all for the compliments. Although, the merit is mainly for Brad, for the magnificent construction plan of the trike and for Twinkle who added the straight crossbar. Thank you for this great bike.

First attempt to build my own Streetfox

And this is my little red fox. Brush painted in red with black elements. Equipped with brand new inner and outer cables for brakes and gears. As in the picture she weights 29.4 kg. Track is about 73 cm, wheelbase 113 cm. I have a 3 x 8 speed installed from my former mountain bike. I love to ride...

First attempt to build my own Streetfox

Hello, This is my first attempt to build my own recumbent trike. Dreaming of a recumbent for years, I purchased a six pack many years ago. Now that I am retired I started the adventure. I bought a stick welder, 6 meters of square tube, and started to cut some scrap bikes into pieces. This...
