    Why shouldn't I???

These are great! I had searched a couple times, but got very few results. I like the simplicity of the last bike, but it is very ugly... Still, the design could be modified. :)

    Why shouldn't I???

The forks are definitely the root of the issue. I thought about reinforcing the inner tube somehow, but that will probably be a lost cause. Still going to toss the idea around for a bit, but the con's are outweighing the pro's every time I find a solution. You have given me a lot to think...

    Why shouldn't I???

I've been thinking and looking at the various AZ designs (dangerous, I know)... The Tri-Cruiser uses two front wheels on forks and might adapt well to my idea. What if I connected the head tubes either on the side of the forks, or had one leg of each fork go through the head tube? Fork...

    New warrior seat

Looks nice! Sort of a Star Wars design... https://media.gq-magazine.co.uk/photos/5d13a1719a22c274ea948b54/master/w_1920,h_1280,c_limit/Star-Wars-15-GQ-15June16_b.jpg

Fork or single-sided wheel support on a tadpole???

I chose a tadpole mainly because of the stability, but also like the aesthetic.

Fork or single-sided wheel support on a tadpole???

I went to a local bike shop this past weekend to order some wheels for a tadpole I'm building. I really trust the bike builder there, and was disheartened when he cautioned me to rethink my choice of support for my front wheels. The plan had been to use a heavy-duty BMX hub with a 14-15mm axle...

    Need wheel recommendations!!!

I'm hoping to build a tadpole trike with two (front) 20" BMX wheels (48 spoke) with a 14mm axle. Not finding a lot available from US stores, and I'm a little leery of the ones I'm finding on Amazon. Does anyone have any recommendations? I would like to keep them under $120 if possible...

    Trike Braking

I will probably go with the traditional caliper rim brakes, but I've been looking at some disc brakes too.

    Trike Braking

!!! I'm glad I asked... That totally makes sense and it never crossed my mind. Definitely going with dual front brakes!

    Trike Braking

I'm new to all this and I'm considering building either a Streetfox or Warrior trike. My question is, do I really need a brake on each tire? I grew up on an old JMC BMX bike with only one rear handbrake, and even on my more recent bikes I rarely use the front brakes. I realize that more...
