I got this as a frame only. It's in the much desired Reynolds 531C butted tubing, is 39 years old and was the flagship bike at the time. I acquired an XS sized Flanders for it's parts and swapped them onto the old frame. The smaller the frame the cheaper they are on ebay as there's little market for them. I can confirm the old adage that a quality steel frame is nicer than an ally one. There's just enough spring in it to take some of the vibration out. The 700C wheels are slightly smaller than the original imperial units so I needed dropper holders for the brake blocks. The frame needed a double cable stop as the shifters were originally on the downtube. The octalink BB from the Flanders was new to me in that the bolts that hold the cranks on also self extract the cranks from the BB, A really nice touch in needing no tool.

Nice rebuild Popshot. I have any old CCM frame (Canadian Cycle Manufacture) about 1949 in need of top tube repair.
This company also at the time made motorcycles.
Company folded in 1965 or 66.
