Does anyone know a good source for, or a way to diy bushings like the ones that the rear triangle frame section pivots on if a mountain bike has rear suspension? I have broken up two mountain bikes for parts and have been unable to remove the bushings without destroying them. The new bushings are approximately .625 id and the od needs to fit into whatever size piece of tubing that is used for the swingarm pivot. The pivot tube is the first piece welded to the main frame section according to the plans I have, building a Voyager. The originals are a hard, very dark gray, almost plastic like material. I don't have a lathe to turn my own, but I do have a drill press. Thanks.

One of the rear ends I took apart had real bearings in there and a central spacer tube.

I have never had trouble bashing them out using a hammer and a piece of wood ? YMMV
