Would like to make the higher domestic authority some of these :-

How can I de-grease chains and other parts to allow them to be welded and painted ?
method wants to be :-

I was not aware that your "other parts" were greasy. Have you tried swarfega and then a quality soap?

pre-wash them in something like Swarfega then put them them in the dishwasher but you may not get many brownie points if you get caught......

Do you know why they are called brownie points? Brownies are like pixies, not like girl-guides and their rewards, like all forms of faerie gold, disappear at sunset...took me a long time to realise that brownie points don't seem to have any currency the next day
