Need wheel recommendations!!!

I'm hoping to build a tadpole trike with two (front) 20" BMX wheels (48 spoke) with a 14mm axle. Not finding a lot available from US stores, and I'm a little leery of the ones I'm finding on Amazon.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I would like to keep them under $120 if possible...

You're asking for hens teeth.

36 spokes is usable. And 15mm or 20mm axle hubs are easier to source on aliexpress or simular.

I had to order the hubs on ebay, rims from planet bmx then have my local bike shop lace them up.

Less than $120 each? I think, a RYD Andra 40 36 spoke rim, combined with these hubs are next to indestructable, and still be cheaper than $120 each.

I've always found a selection on ebay in the UK. They won't have a disc mount though.If you want discs then it's a case of build your own. Whilst 48 spokes are better, 36 will do if that's what you find. If building your own then you are likely to be doing 36 anyway as that'll likely be what you can find in hubs and rims. Don't be put off by the thought of building wheels as it's far simpler than it seems. Equally don't worry about the 48 spoke items on Amazon or ebay. I have had a number of cheap bmx wheels in 14mm and they've been fine.
